WEEKLY UPDATE
Sunday night hockey brought a mix of everything. Maybe it was Stanley Cup fever…we had some exciting end to end action, some amazing saves and quite a passionate group of players. In the end, all games were competitive, fun and everything was left on the slab!
REMINDER
- All players must complete the waiver at the top of the league page before stepping on the floor
- All players must wear a CSA approved hockey helmet, hockey gloves and all team players must have the same colour shirt (goalies excluded)
- All players require 3 games played to qualify for the playoffs and we go by the website

Les Phoques vs. Leitrim Hawks
PHQ came flying out of the gates scoring 3 goals on 3 shots which led to an early 4-0 lead. LH picked one up trying to slow down the momentum, but PHQ grabbed two more highlighted by a hat trick from Jess Lauzon and taking a 6-1 lead into the 2nd. LH stepped up their game and fought back with 2 goals, but in the end PHQ proved to be too much to handle winning 6-3!

Flying Frenchmen vs. The Dad Shift
With their loyal fanbase in attendance, TDS grabbed the early lead only to be answered back by FF in less than 2 minutes. TDS kept the energy high and gained a 3-1 lead. After that, trips to the sin bin on both sides quickly increased the passion in the game. FF kicked it into high gear showing no mercy with 6 straight goals to earn the victory 7-3!

Les Gars vs. Balls Of Fury
LG brought cool, calculated play to gain control in this game. BOF pushed hard but couldn’t penetrate a stellar LG defense. LG jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead, and it wasn’t until near the end of the 1st when BOF finally put a dent in their armour. After that it was all LG with some great shut down hockey. BOF turned it up in the 2nd,but goalie Guillaume Auger stood tall. Driving hard, LG went ahead 5-1 and with the BOF net empty sealed this one away. LG wins 6-1!

Misfits vs. Balls In Deep
The arena had a heavy tilt in favour of MF who dominated from the start. Their systematic play wore down BID’s bid to score. With 4 goals, Brennden Zilles powered MF to a 6-0 lead into the 2nd. Gameplay steadied a little as BID opened up more chances for themselves, but tonight was all about MF winning 7-0!

Panthers vs. Ottawa Mighty Drunks
A little bit of fireworks early in the game but both teams settled down and played some good hockey. OMD held a 2-0 lead through the 1st. At the half PAN pulled themselves together and went hunting for the comeback. They prevailed, scoring 3 plus n empty net marker to turn the results in their favour winning 4-2!

Godsons vs. Vicious Chickens
A hot start to this one with both teams exchanging goals in the first minute! VC took advantage of a powerplay and then added one more to take a 3-1 lead into the 2nd. Back and forth action was the name of the game for the 2nd. With every GOD attack came a VC response. A little penalty trouble for both squads near the end but VC pull off the victory 5-3!
