*** GOING FORWARD GAMES WILL NOW BE PLAYED OUT OF THE TAGGART PARKES BOYS & GIRLS CLUB ***
WEEKLY UPDATE
Across the night, defence was officially declared optional and then immediately ignored. We got one nail-biter (Farm vs Noel Properties turning into a 9–8 scoring panic), a couple of “who brought a goalie?” moments (Kings 10–2 over Care, Blackwater 8–1 over Rag Tag Bunch), and several full-on offensive explosions where the puck basically refused to stop. Warriors vs Great Balls of Fire and Lumberjacks vs Redline both turned into classic chaos parades, while Jagaloons vs AVL was more of a one-team shooting clinic with spectators on skates. Final verdict: goals everywhere, goalies overwhelmed, and the ice is still recovering emotionally.
REMINDER
- All players must complete the waiver at the top of the league page before stepping on the floor
- All players must apply the league provided velcro strip to the bottom of their blades. It must cover the entire blade and cannot be altered and must be changed weekly. Also, all team shirts must be the same colour (goalies excluded)
- All players require 3 games played to qualify for the playoffs and we go by the website

Warriors vs Great Balls of Fire Recap

Cross Bearers vs Jacking Lumber
Cross Bearers struck first at 9:36, briefly suggesting structure and hope. JKL immediately responded by turning the game into a shooting gallery. From there it was all Lumber—regular goals, power-play goals, and general chaos—while CB’s defense gradually evaporated. Final result: Jacking Lumber chopped them down, and the Cross Bearers are still looking for the defensive zone.
CB – Gianmarco Pagani (7GA/32SA)
JKL – leo Maiorino (2GA/39SA)
Lumberjacks vs Redline
Redline scored first at 19:08, briefly enjoying the lead before the Lumberjacks decided defense was a myth. From there, LBJ piled on goal after goal from every angle, turning it into a full-blown scoring carousel. Final result: Lumberjacks win a chaotic shootout where both teams forgot how to stop the puck.

RL – Behrooz Amoli (9GA/28SA)
Jagaloons vs Alta Vista Leaguers
Jagaloons vs Alta Vista Leaguers turned into a one-sided goal buffet where AVL brought all the appetite. AVL opened at 15:21 and never really stopped, stacking goals in waves like they were running drills instead of a game. The Jagaloons showed up, but the scoreboard basically treated them as spectators. Final result: AVL wins comfortably in a game where defense briefly considered participating, then decided against it.
