NO GAMES SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11TH DUE TO THANKSGIVING. Games resume Sunday, October 18th.
WEEKLY UPDATE
What a great fourth week for our Kids Sunday Canterbury players! We’re seeing plenty of positives as players get more comfortable with their teammates, build confidence, and improve together.
Week #4 brought another exciting evening of ball hockey, with strong defensive play, plenty of scoring opportunities, and key saves from the goalies. Players showed great teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination throughout the game. Great effort all around!
Most importantly, we hope everyone had fun. Our goal is to create a positive and comfortable environment where every player can enjoy themselves, develop their skills, and feel part of the team. We’ll continue making adjustments to keep the teams balanced and the games competitive.
A big thank you to all the parents who volunteered behind the benches this week. Your help is greatly appreciated and will be important throughout the season. Volunteers help ensure players rotate properly and receive equal playing time.
Just as importantly, we want to encourage teamwork and a positive attitude, both on the bench and on the floor. A little encouragement can go a long way in helping players feel confident and enjoy their experience.
MISSING BLACK DRI-FIT: A player is missing their black dri-fit shirt, which was left on the bench. Please check whether your child accidentally brought home an extra one. If you find it, contact us so we can arrange to return it.
We wish all our players and families a wonderful Thanksgiving long weekend! Enjoy the extra family time, and we’ll see everyone back on the floor on Sunday, October 18th.

4pm - Black A vs White A
Team White opened the scoring with Zachary Lacroix finding the back of the net off a pass from Victor Lacroix, but Black quickly responded and began to take control. Romeo Di Sano tied things up with Brody Lambert providing the assist, then scored twice more to complete his hat trick. Taivus Carreira made a beautiful pass to set up Di Sano’s fourth goal as Black built a 5–1 lead by halftime. Black continued to apply pressure in the second half, with Carreira adding another goal to secure a 6–1 victory.
Romeo Di Sano was named 1st Star, Taivus Carreira earned 2nd Star, and Zachary Lacroix took 3rd Star. Victor Lacroix and Nicky Mendonca both received Player of the Game recognition.
